"I am blessed to work and volunteer in the two passions in my life; hospice care and animal rescue. I was raised by parents who taught us to serve and give back and am happy that I can do that by putting my skills and energy to good use in rescuing dogs. My Mastiff addiction began several years ago when I fostered and adopted my first Mastiff, Max, from another rescue. I fell in love with the breed and knew I wanted to help. I soon found GPMR, which was local and willing to put me to work right away! I started volunteering with GPMR in 2009, became the Foster Coordinator shortly thereafter and eventually Vice President for the board in 2013. I have also fostered for GPMR and adopted a male and female from the organization."
